University Aid for Transfers

Remember, your application for admission for full-time undergraduate study at the Melbourne campus is your application for most of the Florida Tech merit scholarships and grants listed below. When an additional form is required, you'll find a link to it.

Scholarships

Transfer Scholarship
($8,000–$12,000 per year)

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Mutually exclusive and cannot be combined with other Florida Tech scholarships (Can be combined with the FITS-STEM Scholarship)

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
(Up to $13,500 per year)

  • Must be admitted to Florida Tech and a member of Phi Theta Kappa
  • Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership must be submitted at time of application
  • Mutually exclusive and cannot be combined with other Florida Tech scholarships (Can be combined with the FITS-STEM Scholarship)

The FITS-STEM scholarship
(Up to $10,000 per year)

Presidential Scholarship
(Amount varies—combines to cover full tuition)

  • Awarded to select transfer students from Florida state colleges admitted to the fall term only
  • Must have an A.A. degree prior to enrollment with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Recipients chosen by a Presidential Scholarship committee
  • Must file a complete FAFSA

Athletic Scholarship
(Amount varies)

  • Awarded by individual coaches through the athletics department
  • Florida Tech offers scholarships in men’s baseball, basketball, football, golf, cross country, lacrosse, tennis, rowing and soccer and in women’s basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, rowing and volleyball
